Scouting Report

Felician is a quick and patient defensive end who contains the edge well against the run and is able to take on RBs head-on or on an angle with his ability to redirect to the ball carrier. The get-off he shows is solid, explosive, and direct and he doesn’t get trapped in the arms of offensive linemen. His pass-rush moves are fundamentally good to get through his competition now, he shows good hand speed and movement inside or outside the tackles, but if he were to take a step up in competition, he would have to add more variation and aggression to his move set. Currently, he has the traditional rip and a good foundation for a fast swim move. When he is in the backfield, he locks in well to the QB and continues to show his instincts for the correct angle to take. In terms of further improvement, the addition of more advanced techniques and refinement of those he has executed would see him vastly improve in the near future. - M.Bressington
