Kay is a rangy and lengthy Safety who thrives in coverage situations. Predominantly used to cover the deep middle, but is more than capable of playing in a nickel package or Strong Safety role, he is patient and composed and waits for his opportunity to break on the ball to make the play. His awareness of space allows him to break towards the ball at full speed as well as come into the box and contain the run. -MB
